France - Sweden

PICK: France AH -1,5 @1,85 PINNACLE 5/10
Football / WC Europe Qualifiers / Kick off: 11 Nov 2016, 20:45

France has one of the strongest squads in the world recently and even if Deschamps still doesn't want to call Benzema, attack of Les Blues could be "Spanish" - Griezmann and Gameiro are in pretty good form, playing together in Atletico Madrid and cooperating really well. That could be just big plus for France, even if it's not needed that those two players will start from 1st minute. There are also Giroud, Coman, Dembele and Fekir, and all of them are in pretty good shape. Fekir is key player of Lyon, while youngster Dembele is becoming more and more important player in Dortmund. Also Umtiti became key player of defence of Barcelona, but it looks that Deschamps will stay at Koscielny and Varane. Anyway, squad is wide, only problem was injury of Kurzawa, whose replacemenet is veteran Evra who will compete for his spot in first eleven with another Barcelona's player - Lucas Digne. On right full back position it looks that Sidibe will be infront of Corchia, while in goal there is no doubt about Lloris. Important is also that Pogba played one of better matches in last game for Manchester United, so in my opinion France is well prepared for Sweden team, which looks totally different without the biggest star - Zlatan Ibrahimović.

In attack they depend on Berg, Guidetti, Larsson and Toivonen, while they're key player is Leipzig's star Forsberg who already scored 4 goals in Bundesliga this season. Last match they started with 30 years old strikers - Berg and Toivonen, who are far from Zlatan's level. Toivonen is playing in France, Toulouse; while Berg is member of Panathinaikos. As France, also Sweden has problems with left back because of injury of Martin Olsson who is pretty important part of they're defence. Sweden is used to have ball in possession and they're level of football depends on that pretty much but when they play against the team which also likes to possess the ball, they are giving up and trying more over counter-attacks.

France is for sure team which will like to have the ball, and I predict that they will have some problems with breaking throw the Swedish defence but after first goal everything will be different. France is also team which is seriously strong from set pieces - they have some great free kick takers in Payet, Griezmann,.. and also players very good with head - Varane, Koscielny,.. In my opinion Les Blues will be much stronger side in this match, and with average display they will beat Sweden with 2 or more goals difference.

FT: 2-1
