Nancy - Lorient

PICK: Lorient team totals over 0,75 @1,714 PINNACLE 5/10

On Saturday at 20:00 on Marcel-Picot in Tomblaine, 18th Nancy will host 20th Lorient. Nancy is 6 points above Lorient right now, so for Lorient this is one of the last if not the last chance to stay in the game.

Nancy is in bad form, they lost 6 of last 7 matches and looks that they will need to fight strongly if they will want to avoid relegation. They are lucky, that as Bastia as Lorient are in bad form as well, and they are sitting on this 18th place even if they are loosing match after match. They won't miss any new players.

Lorient, currently the worst team in L1 is in front of another "final match". They need to win the match if they want to catch Bastia (IMO they will lose tonight against Metz, so Lorient will have the same number of points as Corsicans in case of win). Coach Casoni is happy to have Waris and Jimmy Cabot back in the squad, but unfortunately he will miss Peyberness due to suspension.

Important match for both teams. Nancy can extend or hold their advantage in front of Lorient, but thinking in this way will kill them, so I believe that they will try to win the match. Nancy scored less goals than anyone in the league (only 19), but everyone can score against the worst defending team - Lorient (conceded 59 in 29 matches). I said that many times this season - if Lorient would have decent defence, they would be in mid-table. With players like Moukandjo, Marveaux, Waris, they can score against each opponent. They scored against PSG, Marseille and Bordeaux in last 3 matches, and in my opinion, they  will score even more than just a goal against Nancy. They are in much worse position, As captain Ciani said, as long as there is chance to avoid relegation, they believe in it and they work hard to avoid the relegation. They are still masters of their destiny as they will meet many beatable teams in last 9 rounds and they still have decent chances. But first, they will need to show their desire in match against Nancy.

FT: 2-3
